Frequently asked questions.

What is the purpose of the CCAB Study?

We’re developing improved computerized tests with innovative measures to quantify normal age-related changes in performance. We believe these new assessments will decrease the cost, improve the sensitivity, and facilitate access to these increasingly vital tests. We are evaluating whether the new measures made possible by our novel technology can predict the risk of future cognitive decline. If we’re successful, this would make possible earlier therapeutic interventions in at-risk patients to stabilize cognition before irreversible brain damage has occurred.

How much time will the CCAB Study take?

Your time commitment depends on which experiment you choose to participate in. Our prescreening form helps us to understand how much time you wish to spend on the study and to accommodate these preferences. Our current experiments range from 1.5 to 18 hours of testing, taking place over one-week to three years.

How much will I be compensated for my participation in the CCAB Study?

Participants will be compensated at $25/hour of test time, with bonuses available for participants who complete our longitudinal studies (over 1-3 years).

Where will CCAB Study testing take place?

The CCAB Study will be remotely administered in the comfort of your home.

How will I receive CCAB Study test materials?

The CCAB Study tablet computer will be delivered to your residence by one of our delivery associates. The driver will be in touch via phone or text to accommodate your schedule.

Will the results of my CCAB Study testing be placed on my personal medical record?

No. The results of your CCAB Study test administration are strictly confidential and will not be placed on your personal medical record. For more information regarding your data, invite you to view our ‘Data Protection’ page by clicking here.
